The end of summer approaches: Cocky Bennett & Train Travel
Writing Tools: tip #3 Kindlepreneur Subscribe to receive articles and tips every week in your inbox Image source: Pixabay - geralt Temperatures are starting to cool (a little) here on the East Coast of Australia as we enter that much looked for transition period between seasons – autumn. We still have a week to go, but everyday. Edges us closer to sunny warm mornings that don’t turn into furnace like conditions by lunchtime. I do love the in-between times of autumn and spring

Sydney's Forgotten Palace
This article originally appeared on Suzanne Adair's Relative History site under the title: Gadigal Land It takes more than a surface look to see the levels of history on display in Sydney. Especially, if you’ve come from a country where an old building could be anywhere from 200 to 700 years, where crumbling ruins dot the landscape and point to a built-history much older, more fraught with intrigue and story than anything you’ll see in Australia. Book Review: Cassandra by Kathryn Gossow
Catching up on my reading and reviewing, I'm currently reading The Awakening by Kate Chopin, but I recently read Cassandra by Kathryn Gossow, and finally have a review. They celebrate giants of science and engineering like Tesla, Bazalgette, and Lovelace. They write about mad scientists, cross-dressing heiresses, and multi-talented

Book Review: A Perfect Square
A perfect square is a number that can be expressed as the product of two equal integers mathwarehouse.com I had the great pleasure to be offered a copy of A Perfect Square by Isobel Blackthorn in exchange for an honest review. Having loved Isobel's last release, The Drago Tree, I was only too happy to oblige. A Perfect Square is published by Odyssey Books, an independent Australian publisher and is now available for purchase (I recommend it!). Set amid the fern glades and tow

All is quiet on the Eastern Front: but not for much longer...
Judging by how quiet I've been on social media lately, you'd be forgiven for thinking I've disappeared in a giant sink hole off the East Coast of Australia! Much better than that, I've been touring Vietnam with Wendy Wu Tours (and my husband). We had a wonderful time with 23 other Australian and 5 British travellers walking around and exploring the main touristy sites starting in Ho Chi Minh City and finishing in Hanoi. Loved every hot, sweaty minute of it! But I'm home now,
